Children in foster care or in the process of adoption On May 17, 2010, the policy on issuing passports to children in foster care and to children who are the subject of an adoption process in Canada has been amended.
Eligible Guarantors for Applicants in Canada Effective February 1, 2010, Passport Canada will no longer accept passport applications with a declaration of professional guarantor requirement submitted by Canadians living in Canada.
